Meet the Staff

Andrei Constantinescu

Andrei is the man in charge!  He is the casting director and brains behind everything that happens at Legacy Casting.  He is also the head cheerleader!

Favorite movie:  “Braveheart”  (It’s amazing we can narrow Andrei down to just one movie since he owns nearly 1,000!)

Favorite movie quote “It’d be a lot cooler if you did . . .” Matthew McConaughey in “Dazed and Confused”

Most memorable on set moment Hmmm . . . Meeting Jimmy Fallon my first day of extra work on the movie “Factory Girl” OR signing in 500 extras a day at 4:30AM on the set of “Year One”

Can’t live without: Coffee, Asian food, his family and friends, and Netflix.

Little known fact:  Andrei only has one joint in his right pinky finger.  Check it out the next time you see him in the office or on set!

Kate Warren Thomas

We are THRILLED to have Kate working with us!!!!  She and Andrei have worked together for many, many years and have both spent time on projects in Shreveport, New Orleans, and Dallas.  Kate is a great extras casting coordinator and invaluable member of the Legacy team.  Kate runs our Shreveport office.

Favorite movie:  Amelie

Favorite tv shows:  Downton Abbey, Friends, All of the Real Housewives Franchises (Except D.C.), Dexter, House of Cards, Orange is the New Black

Favorite movie quote:  “Sans toi les émotions d’aujourd’hui ne seraient que la peau morte des émotions d’autrefois.”― Hipolito  (Translation: “Without you, today’s emotions would be the scurf of yesterday’s.”

Most memorable on set moment:  Meeting Rue McClanahan and Olivia Newton-John on the set of Sordid Lives – The Series. What icons!

Can’t live without:  Macbook Pro, friends and family, and of course, Mr. Pruitt, the handsome pug

Little known fact:  Kate LOVES rap music!!!

Kenny Edwards

Kenny head shotKenny is our new “go to guy” for DALLAS!  You will see Kenny on set as well as in our office sometimes.  He is frequently the guy you will check in with on DALLAS and who will help you be in the right place at the right time.  Kenny has worked with Legacy as a background actor and stand in for many years and we are thrilled to have him as part of our team!

Favorite movie:  Singing in the Rain, Blazing Saddles, and Monty Python’s Holy Grail
Favorite tv shows:  Person Of Interest, Walking Dead, and of course Dallas.

Favorite movie quote:  Jim: [consoling Bart] “What did you expect? “Welcome, sonny”? “Make yourself at home”? “Marry my daughter”? You’ve got to remember that these are just simple farmers. These are people of the land. The common clay of the new West. You know… morons.”  (From Blazing Saddles)

Most memorable on set moment:  Kenny finds it hard to choose just one since he has had so many great moments.  From working closely on set with George Strait and Isabelle Glasser for Pure Country to working with the legends on the set of Dallas and several moments in between.  There were times on the set of Good Guys that he laughed so hard he would have tears in his eyes from the off camera antics of Bradley Whitford and Collin Hanks.  Each moment in this industry is a treasure all its own.

Can’t live without:  Coffee, and not just in the morning!  Kenny drinks it all day long!

Little known fact:  Kenny started in the industry as a choreographer and instructor for country music in ’89 and a few years later was nominated for a CMA award for Instructor of the Year.

Renee Roberts

Renee is the newest member of our staff working in our Dallas office. Her favorite tasks include alphabetizing lists and leaving messages for our awesome extras. Andrei loves that Renee laughs at all of his jokes.

Favorite movie: Good Will Hunting

Favorite movie quote: Anything that passes the Bechdel test.

Most memorable on set moment: Meeting Bethany Rooney, the director of Episode 304 of Dallas and a previous director on Gilmore Girls.  Since Renee was obsessed with GG in high school, meeting Bethany was a delight.

Can’t live without: her Moleskine, Voss water, Eos chapstick, William Stafford’s poetry

Little known fact:  Renee write a music blog in her off-hours. If you are so inclined, check it out! http://anchorrecords.blogspot.com/

Rachel Constantinescu

Rachel is Andrei’s creative and uberorganized counterpart.  She is an instructional specialist at an elementary school by day and office intern by night/summer.

Favorite movie The King’s Speech  . . . don’t even get her started on how brilliant this movie is!

Favorite tv shows:  Real Housewives of NY, OC, Beverly Hills, Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, SNL, Trophy Wife, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Shark Tank

Favorite movie quote:  “Ella, is that why you agreed to meet me here?”  (Andrei Constantinescu’s first line as Bruce Stern in “Beyond a Reasonable Doubt”)

Most memorable on set moment Andrei tries not to let Rachel go on set because he is afraid she will do something really embarrassing such as go in the actors’ trailers or give the director some suggestions BUT she loved watching Kristen Chenoweth in action on GCB.  Kristen proves that great things come in tiny packages!

Can’t live without:  Andrei, iphone, her Sonicare toothbrush, TJ Maxx and the DVR.

Little known fact:  Rachel loves alphabet books and cookbooks.  Keep her away from Half Price Books!  She also has a LARGE shoe collection.  🙂

Robin Devoe

Robin is our DALLAS set PA!  You can always recognize her on set by her TCU ballcap, (she is never without it) and her iphone.  (It’s a tool, not a toy people!)  Anyone who has seen Robin on set knows that she is THE BEST!!!

Favorite movie:  Silence of the Lambs (Clarice Starling is Robin’s favorite movie heroine.)
Favorite movie quotes: Andy Dufresne in “Shawshank Redemption” . . . “Get busy living, or get busy dying.” and later in the movie . . . [In letter to Red] “Remember Red, hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies.”
Most memorable on set moment: Getting to shake hands with Bradley Whitford was pretty earth shattering, especially since I’m such a big West Wing fan. But some of my most memorable moments have been simple ones, like packing up after our first time at Southfork, and feeling like I was the luckiest girl in the world, to get to “run away with the circus”…getting to do something I love this much everyday.
Can’t live without:  Our Lord Jesus, her family and friends (including her two kitties), and her Mad Men and Fringe DVD’s.
Little known fact:  Robin is a great baker.  She loves cookies, cupcakes, cakes, or pies.  In her words, “I don’t do protein.  I do sugar highs.”
